Buzz Super Computer Fujitsu 12 petabytes ~ Fujitsu created a super computer for the latest NCI research development Australian National University (ANU) with a 1.2 petaflop computer performance and storage capacity of up to 12 petabytes of data.
Vice-Chancellor ANU Professor Ian Young said the Super Computer Fujitsu 12 petabytes will bring Australia to pursue new research such as weather and climate modeling, computational relationships, particle physics, astronomy, material science, microbiology, nanotechnology and photonic ~ Super Computer Fujitsu
"This super computer will be one of the largest and fastest computer in the world," said Chief Ekeskutif Companies (COO) Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand Mike Foster
The computer will have a data center (data center) based in Canberra, Australia and uses x86 technology cluster consists of 50 rack of computing nodes PRIMERGY CX250 3592.
