Matrix Phone 02 is inspired from old science fiction movies that combine the conventional design with modern technology. The South Korean designer's creation Ungnoh Yoon features compact size measures 140 (opened) and 90 (closed) x 50 x 15 mm (HWD).
When the cell phone is closed, it looks like an old fashioned beeper or mobile device, but as soon as you slide the upper side, the Graphen display, one of the next gen technologies, pops up to change the mobile phone into a futuristic device. This cell phone comes from an image of future devices in old SF movies. When it's closed, it looks rather old fashioned beeper or cellphone.
But if you push the upper side of it, the graphen display, which is one of next Generation technologies, pops up immediately then it changes into a futuristic style. When closed, the Matrix phone shows a green OLED light to indicate simple and basic information like time, caller ID, quick dial info and so on, while on the other hand, when opened, the Graphen screen displays all the other information.
